You’ll know by now I’m a bit obsessed by taking pictures of the sky – a permanently changing skyscape of beauty and wonder. I find myself driving down the motorway cursing the fact I can’t take photographs. There have been some amazing skies over the past couple of days, both at sunrise and sunset. Skies that are so bright in one direction and almost pitch black in the other – and those that you can see the cloud at different heights.
The conversation on Thursday as we staggered home from school went
Sealion Keeper: “Mummy, can I go and get changed into my Brownie uniform”
Me: “Yes, but put your school uniform in the washing basket” (I live in hope…)
Cheetah Keeper: “Mummy, can you take me out on my scooter?”
Me: “Yes, but only if I can bring me camera”
Cheetah Keeper: “Oh, OK then… but take a picture of those clouds…”

this last batch of cold weather has brought some beautiful high clouds – ones that I don’t usually get to photograph. We live on the top of the hill so I guess I’m lucky with what I can see – although the telegraph poles do get in the way! Glad you like them x

We take the sky so much for granted, yet I am aware of its ability for change, particularly for living on the coast. Beautiful pics, as always, Jenny X

goodness me – if I lived on the coast I’d never do anything! I’d just be there with my camera x
